Best Frisco Preschool Staff
Ms. Chris Duncan is the owner and Executive Director of the Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts, and the Licensed Director of Frisco Creative Arts Preschool. She has been a School Director and independent music teacher in the Dallas area since 1978.
Ms. Chris is an advocate for family involvement in continued learning, and brings energy, enthusiasm and a joyful love of teaching to her lifelong pursuit of excellence in music and preschool education. Ms. Duncan lives in Celina, TX and has two grown boys - one whom is a working jazz pianist.
Ms. April is Co-director of Creative Arts Preschool. She has been with the school since 2011.
She began as an Assistant Teacher at MAS, then as an Administrative Assistant in the office. The experience of helping to inspire children to reach their highest potential lead her to decide to move into administration, and to study for the Director Training Course. She completed her State of Texas Licensed Director Training Certificate in the Spring of 2018. Ms. April is devoted to helping children and families have the best customized school experience possible, and looks forward to working with you and your family.
Lead Academics Teacher
Ms. Briannah was raised in Denton, Texas. After high school she decided to study Early Childhood Education at Collin College, and found her passion in teaching young children, especially ages 3-6. She loves working with young students, and also teaches pre-ballet in our after-school program on campus. Ms. Briannah challenges each child to reach their full potential here at Frisco Creative Arts Preschool!
Lead Art Teacher
Ms. Elizabeth (Izzy) is a photographer who was raised in rural Missouri. She received her Bachelor's degree in Art with a minor in Art History at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi in December of 2018. She’s worked as a cartoonist, a photographer, a gallery assistant and has produced art-related, digital content. Miss Izzy is excited to work alongside your student and foster their creativity!
Lead Dance Teacher
Ms. Anna is a graduate of Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Studies. She has years of experience teaching young children through dance and movement. She represented TWU at the American College Dance Association conference in 2018, and has performed with SleepWalkers contemporary company and in multiple undergraduate and graduate student works. She is immensely excited to work with Frisco Creative Arts Preschool.
Lead Musical Theatre Teacher
Ms. Leah is a musical theatre performer, dancer and choreographer from Mansfield, TX. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas Woman’s University. She has been teaching performing arts for ages 3 - teen since 2012. Ms. Leah has performed in an assortment of productions across DFW, including roles include Grease (Marty), A Chorus Line (Connie Mackenzie), and 9 to 5 (Ensemble). She is an award winning choreographer with shows featured all across Texas. From a young age she has always studied music through school choir and vocal lessons. Ms. Leah’s passion for performing and singing carried her onto a bigger stage as an adult and she is so excited to work with your child and build their passion for the arts here at Frisco Creative Arts Preschool.
